Breaking Ground Soon – What Changes Will Be Made?
We are working hard to get the following improvements to our outdoor space to be completed this Summer 2022.
Our playground improvements will help bring our playground up to code with current safety standards. Unfortunately, this year we said goodbye to our pirate ship and plane. Additionally we have been asked by licensing to make changes to our play structure including the arch and tire swing. However, we are super excited with our new ideas that will allow children to enjoy this space for years to come.
Our improvement plan includes turf to alleviate the muddy spots throughout the school year. We are also adding some fun turf mounds with tunnels and a balance beam for good climbing and large motor skill activity. This magical space will become more magical by jazzing up our boring sheds with a nature themed mini murals from local artist Chris Peterson. Finally a new large wood playhouse with ‘sand kitchen’ will be added and we are updating our irrigation in our new garden to be ‘kid friendly’ so we can get planting and digging in this fun new area.

If you would like to make an impact donation of $250 – we are working on a way to include family names within the murals. A donation of $250 and above will be included in our mural, a donation of $500 or above will have high visibility on our mural.
